Why do we need to learn Math?
There are some important reasons of why we need to learn about French.So here are some of those reasons:
Reason no 1: Cooking
Reason no 2: Money
Reason no 3: Build Confidence
Reason no 1 Cooking
From buying groceries to cooking, it all requires math to calculate the amount of ingredients you need for each meal. Maybe you need 10 ml of milk for pancakes, and if you know math and have learned about it before, you will know how much you exactly need. And if you buy meat in a supermarket, you need to let the staff know how much meat you need exactly. This might not be what you need as a student right now, but you will never know if you need to go and buy groceries later in your life.
Reason no 2 Money
From reason number 1, you still might not think that you will ever need to go into the kitchen to start cooking or go to the groceries store and buy some food. But I think that you will definitely have a chance and go to a store and start buying things you need or things that you want to buy. If you have not learned percentage which you will learn around grade 8 , you will not be able to know how much you need to pay, especially when that item you want is on sale and you wanted to buy that item you would want to know the exact amount of money will have to pay.
Reason no 3 Build Confidence
You might not know this, but math could really help you build confidence. And here’s why a lot of people do not like math because it is so complicated, confusing, and don't know where to start. Research shows that word problems will mainly be building confidence the most. From you don’t understand the question to you got the answer you can feel that confidence once you finish the question and with the answer that you wanted to get.
