What Do They Do ?
In Canada, teachers get to decide what projects or assignments do the students do in their class. So with that we can't really tell you exactly what you are going to do in class, but you will know what kinds of projects and assignments that you will need to do earlier than others so then you mentally prepared for what's coming next!
For grade 8:
- Some classes might have travel planning, especially Quebec, but not all classes have this opportunity.
- Creating presentations with whatever topic you have been learning surrounded by French.
- the assignments are mostly about grammar practice, writing exercise and reading comprehension.
For grade 9:
- written or oral presentations with hobbies, culture and travel
- research French culture
- writing comic books
- creating a poster
